Things Worth Doing This Weekend (March 22nd-24) in Charlotte

Looking for the lowdown on what’s up this weekend in the Queen City? Well, you’ve come to the right place. From slurping oysters to cheering on your favorite team, and yes, even perfecting your downward dog with the cutest goats in town – we’ve got your weekend plans locked down.

Whether you’re in the mood for some family fun, a taste of local culture, or just looking to kick back with some good eats and drinks, we’ve got you covered.

Friday, 3/22: Rain Can’t Stop This Parade 🌧️🎉

WrestleMania at Lenny Boy:

Who needs sunshine when you’ve got a free wrestling show from 7-10? Body slams are way cooler than sunbeams, anyway.

March Madness at Sugar Creek:

Basketball, beer, and a limited-release, crushable March Madness brew? Sounds like a slam-dunk evening to me.

Monarch Market Vibes:

Chow down and chill out with a live DJ at Monarch Market. It’s like your living room but with way better food and no dishes to wash.

Saturday, 3/23: Cloudy with a Chance of Awesome ☁️🎈

Charlotte FC vs. Columbus Crew:

Soccer, tailgates, and questionable weather – a classic combo. Kick-off at 7:30, pre-game at Hopfly from 4 pm. Tickets start at $39 (for the game, the tailgate is free)

Funky Finds at Resident Culture Plaza:

Swap decor and antiques from 12-4. Because who doesn’t love a good treasure hunt?

Oyster Roast at NoDa Brewing:

Their 5th Annual “Mother Shuckin’ Oyster Roast” is on. Tickets are $32, pearls of fun included.

Pig Pickin’ at Pinhouse:

Two whole hogs are being roasted and you can get a fresh bbq pork sandwich for only $2. That and whiskey specials? Count me in. Plus, you’re helping fight kidney disease. Good food, good cause.

Easter Egg Hunt:

Got kiddos? Piedmont Social House from 1-3 is the spot. Spoiler: the Easter Bunny isn’t great at hiding things.

Drag Bingo & Doodle Romp at Skiptown:

Bingo at 12, early admission for doodles at 10. It’s like brunch, but with more balls and paws.

Wine Dinner at Local Loaf:

Five courses, wine, and a $125 ticket to flavor town. Starts at 6:30, fancy pants optional. Get your tickets here.

Olé España at NoDa Company Canteen:

Paella, sangria, and Spanish vibes. No passport needed, just an appetite for fun.

Puppy Love at Pilot Brewing:

Adoptable doggos, brews, and possibly meeting your new furry BFF. What’s not to love?

Maker’s Market at Room Service:

Shop local, support makers, and maybe find that one-of-a-kind thing you didn’t know you needed.

Sunday, 3/24: Sun’s Out, Fun’s Out ☀️🕶️

March Madness Continues at Sycamore:

Because the only thing better than basketball is basketball with a beer in hand.

Bluegrass & Brews at Triple C:

Live tunes from 1-4. Bring your banjo…actually, please don’t—leave the picking to the pros. Just your tapping toes will suffice/

Craft Market at NoDa Brewing:

Peace, love, and craft beer from 2-7. It’s like a hug for your soul, with shopping.

Drag Brunch at Supperclub:

Sashay your way to a fabulous brunch from 11-3. Tickets are $25, and the mimosas are calling.

Goat Yoga at Monday Night Brewing:

Stretch it out with some goats from 2-3 for $30. It’s like regular yoga, but with more bleats and giggles. Get your tickets here.

Oyster Fest at High Branch Brewing:

Shuck and jive from 1-5. Tickets are $5, and the oysters are shuckin’ awesome.

Plant Swap at The Chamber:

Got a green thumb? Swap and shop from 12-5.

Familyoke at Sip City:

Karaoke, free pizza with a drink, and no judgment. Bring the fam and belt it out.
